PFS Group Limited is an established Fire & Security Company based in Southend, Essex. We have experienced rapid growth over the past few years and are looking for an ambitious person to join our company. We are looking to hire a Junior Sales Executive to complement our existing sales team and strategy. The role will require the successful candidate to have prior experience in selling Fire & Security maintenance contracts, as well as the ability to handle any installation enquiries that arise.

The role will consist of contacting clients and arranging face to face appointments and compiling information from surveys. You will generate your own leads through multiple means but the role would specifically require you to canvass targeted areas that are part of the Company’s sales strategy. You will be provided with the relevant marketing materials to assist in this process. You must, however, be able to demonstrate how you have generated opportunities previously as well as how you generate consistent performance over periods of time.

When site visits take place you will compile information to ensure a satisfactory survey has been completed to a high standard, in-line with our responsibilities as an accredited Company under several industry recognised schemes.

Working alongside existing Sales, Estimation and Client Support staff, you will be set targets on a quarterly basis which will be monitored via monthly, or more frequent meetings with the relevant Managers and/or Directors. You will be responsible for generating your own leads and for logging these and your successful conversions on our IT system.

The company is structured to promote constructive conversations to deal with issues and in addition we ensure all staff have regular discussions with their managers. We will work with you to develop your skills and provide honest and transparent feedback on where improvements can be made. We ensure communication between company management and staff is consistent and all members of our management team are approachable.

We conduct yearly appraisals which includes a wage review. We will initially also complete multiple catch-ups over your first few months ahead of your 6 month probation expiry to ensure you are fully aware of how you are performing.

  • Generating leads for Fire & Security maintenance & installation opportunities
  • Communicating with clients face to face and over telephone & video calling systems
  • Conducting detailed in-site surveys
  • Compiling detailed and compliant quotations
  • Attend site meetings with new clients if required
  • Representing the Company well at all times
