PFS Group Limited is an established Fire & Life Safety Company based in Southend, Essex. We have experienced rapid growth over the past few years and are looking for an ambitious person to join our company. We are looking to take on an additional Trainee Estimator to complement our existing team. The role will include full training so no prior knowledge of the industry is required.
Working in a team with a Manager and several other staff you will be part of an environment which empathises both individual and team working skills. You will work with our Managing Director, Operations Manager as well as other staff in your department, accumulating your own areas of responsibility over time. The company is structured to promote constructive conversations to deal with issues and in addition we ensure all staff have regular discussions with their managers.
Your role will be to survey sites and then create maintenance quotes for them, work alongside our existing Contracts Coordinator and assist with putting together Tender packages and renewal quotations, as well as providing general support with our Contracts & Estimation teams. You will need be customer facing, have a good telephone manner and be confident in regards to what we are offering to our clients.
Full training will be provided and we don’t expect candidates to have any prior industry knowledge. We are looking for a candidate who wants to grow within the business and take an interest in learning how other areas of the company function in order to improve their understanding and technical knowledge

We will work with you to develop your skills and provide honest and transparent feedback on where improvements can be made. We ensure communication between company management and staff is consistent and all members of our management team are approachable.
We conduct yearly appraisals which includes a wage review. We will initially also complete multiple catch-ups over your first few months ahead of your 6 month probation expiry to ensure you are fully aware of how you are performing.
Successful candidates may be required to travel to London several days a week, all expenses would be paid by the company.

· Assisting service department/engineers with queries relating to your quotes

· The ability to prioritise your workload
