Emergency Light systems are crucial and required in most buildings as per the Regulatory Reform Order 2005. The RRO states "Emergency routes and exits requiring illumination must be provided with emergency lighting of adequate intensity in the case of failure of their normal lighting". If you have an Emergency Lighting system already it is imperative that this system is regularly maintained as per BS5266:-1:2016. PFS Group will propose a maintenance schedule to ensure your system remains compliant at all times. Depending on the use of the premises and any requirements set-out by your insurers it is also possible to provide additional visits to go beyond the British Standard minimum requirements such as monthly flick tests.
